Aipoly

Aipoly is one of the most interesting English learning app I've ever tried. It basically uses smart phone's camera to scan and recognize the object. In one to two seconds, it will show up the English definition and pronunciation at the same time. The definition is so detailed that sometimes it also provides the country of origins. Giving English language learners a more straight forward explanation, Aiploy also creates much fun which is vital to stimulate English learner's interests. Motivation plays an important role in the process of using Aiploy because people would try to use it on every single thing, like a little piece of paper. However, I think Aipoly could be designed better if it supports explanation in different languages. If it is able provide a clear comparison between English and student's first language, more students will benefit from this app. Well, it is quite great though.
