Sounds of Speech is a systematic pronunciation tool which assists learners to articulate both vowels and consonant sounds. It is designed by The University of Iowa and is available on different platforms. Besides a complete category of sounds, it also presents both visual and real-person mouth shaping clips to improve learn's articulating abilities. I would encourage this website to all new ESL students because Sounds of Speech is very basic and easy for new learners. Before learners build wrong pronunciation habits, Sounds of Speech should be used appropriately to fix and change their pronunciation. Knowing that Sounds of Speech is a fundamental tool for ESL students, I think it is also useful for educators to develop by adding dialects and United Kingdom accents to fit various needs.Talking about cons, the visual materials and UI could be redesigned more delicate and smooth.
